Grading Policy and Weight of each Graded Category:
-Skill Builders are weekly assignments designed to develop skills necessary to understand the concepts taught for each unit. *Mondays* A new skill builder is given and is due on Friday of that week, unless otherwise specified. If it is turned in late a point is deducted from the grade for every week it is late. After 2 weeks past the due date, skill builders will not be accepted for points. Please communicate with me as to why Skill Builders are not being turned in on time.
-Homework is important to understand and apply the concepts being taught. That is why there will be homework given and it will be graded with providing feedback. Homework will be given and expected to be turned in on time. If homework is not turned in on time, points will be deducted. If work is shown and attempted partial credit will be given.
-Daily work will consist of warm ups, which will be problem(s) from the previous day. The expectation would be for you to attempt these problem(s).
-Quizzes will be given periodically throughout the unit being taught to assess your skills. Tests will be given at the end of each unit taught. These quizzes and tests will be open notes.
